I mixed it up a bit today, doing push-ups, using some different machines, and focusing on a variety of muscle groups that I haven't hit in a little while, hoping to throw my body off track a bit. I did about 700 cals. worth of elliptical, too.
We went to Chipotle for lunch where I had a burrito bowl with rice (with cilantro), black beans, onions and peppers, tomatillo-tomato salsa (medium to hot), corn, guacamole, and lettuce. I particularly enjoyed it. I could see making this at home, with perhaps some grilled fish or chicken, or vegetarian (like today).
I'll be looking into some new running shoes this week, probably tomorrow, since I need to get back into that. I'd rather not take chances with shoes I've had for about a year (when six months is the recommended time to replace them).
