Today, the workout got amped up a little bit, and it really was a little. My routine lately has been weights/tm* (134 cals)/weights/tm (133 cals)/weights/tm (100 cals)/weights/elliptical.
That's figures out to be 300 calories on the tm, about 500 or so with weights, and approx. 815 cals. on the elliptical. That's approx. 1600 cals.
Today, I added a 50 calorie burst before the first weight set and after the last weight set, bringing the tm total to 400 cals. So, the new total is about 1700 cals.
That doesn't include any other calories I burn during the course of the day, so I am burning well over 2000 cals. today. Tomorrow, I run, so that will be about 1100 cals. + the every day stuff.
It just feels good.
*tm = treadmill, which will be the only way I write it from now on. :)
